Make-A-Wish

Today I had the honor of being a part of the Make-A-Wish Midsouth radio Wish-A-Thon! I'm so passionate about this organization because they give children fighting cancer joy and purpose. A wish is granted every 37 minutes and I truly believe it's a game changer in the lives of these children. I loved every minute of today and can't wait to do it again soon, this is what it's all about!

Chicago with my crew!

Over the week, my Vanbros crew and I, have spent time in Chicago making appearances, bonding, and prepping for Miss USA! To say it was fun would be an understatement, because we had an absolute blast!! We visited radio stations, hospitals, the Caterpillar plant, and the Veterans home. Also, huge thank you to Bridal Elegance for hosting us!

Atlanta Market with my #Vanbrosgirls!

This week was a BIG week! Our wonderful Vanbros director, John, took all 6 of his states to Atlanta market to meet with Sherri Hill and pick out our Miss USA gowns! The second I walked in it was like a dream come true. There were so many beautiful dresses it was so hard to select "the" one. We all made incredible selections and have some serious show stoppers! Can't wait for everyone to see at Miss USA 2016!

Jonathan Carter Photography

Jonathan Carter is one of the most talented photographers, especially in the pageant industry. I was so excited to have the opportunity to shoot with him while I was in Vegas for the Miss Universe pageant. The finals images turned out amazing and I can't thank him enough! Miss Universe 2016

Over the weekend, I was so fortunate to have been able to travel to Las Vegas to watch the Miss Universe pageant and see girls from all over the world represent their countries. First of all, I'm so proud of Olivia, our amazing Miss USA!! She handled herself with such grace and elegance on stage and represented our country beautifully! With the craziness of how the pageant ended, I can honestly say either of the girls would have made a wonderful Miss Universe. They both handled themselves like true queens and dealt with the issue the right way. Steve Harvey did a fabulous job throughout the night and it was an honest mistake! I'm so excited for Pia and her reign as Miss Universe, congrats again to all the girls!

A trip to Dallas

A few weeks ago I traveled to Dallas, one of my favorite places ever, to shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Kirstie Marie. I was so excited for this shoot because of the location, we shot at an abandoned quarry that has its own famous hashtag trending on Instagram, #thatdallasquarry. The water was so blue and scenery was absolutely breathtaking! I'm so thrilled with the images we captured! Check out my Facebook page and Instagram @abbyfloyd_ for more from this shoot!
